Tilmicosin is an over-the-counter drug, a special antibiotic for livestock and poultry semi-synthesized by a hydrolysate of tylosin, which is medicinal. It is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of livestock pneumonia (caused by Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, Pasteurella, Mycoplasma, etc.), avian mycoplasmosis and mastitis of lactating animals.

Indications

It binds to the 50S subunit of bacterial ribosome and affects the synthesis of bacterial proteins. It has a bactericidal effect on Gram-negative bacteria, positive bacteria and S. cinerea. Flurbiprofen It has strong anti-inflammatory, antipyretic and analgesic effects, and it has quick effect. It can effectively alleviate the fever symptoms caused by respiratory diseases, promote the feeding and drinking of sick birds. The anti-asthmatic component can promote the dissolution of phlegm and strengthen the bronchus. Mucociliary movement promotes the discharge of sputum; cardiac detoxification factor can strengthen the heart and detoxify, accelerate the recovery of sick birds and improve production performance.

Contra-indications

This product can be combined with adrenaline to increase the death of pigs.

It is the same as other macrolides and lincosamides, and should not be used at the same time.

It is antagonistic in combination with β-lactam.

Side Effects

The toxic effect of this product on animals is mainly the cardiovascular system, which can cause tachycardia and contraction.

Like other macrolides, it is irritating. Intramuscular injection can cause severe pain. It can cause thrombophlebitis and perivascular inflammation after intravenous injection.

Many animals often experience dose-dependent gastrointestinal dysfunction (vomiting, diarrhea, intestinal pain, etc.) after oral administration, which may be caused by stimulation of smooth muscle.

Dosage

Poultry: 100 grams of this product is 300 kilograms of water, concentrated twice a day for 3-5 days.

Pig: 100 grams of this product 150 kg. Used for 3-5 days. It can also be mixed with 0.075-0.125g per kg of body weight or drinking water. 3-5 days in a row.

Withdrawal Times

Poultry: 16 days.

Pigs: 20 days.
