Ciprofloxacin Injection 10%
Indications
For the treatment of respiratory tract infections such as pneumonia, bronchitis, and mycoplasma, gastrointestinal infections such as gastroenteritis and diarrhea (Clostridium and E. coli), urinary and genital system infections such as uterus and mastitis inflammation, ear infections, skin and wounds in sheep, cattles, pigs, rabbits, dogs and cats.
Administration and Dosage
Administer subcutaneously to rabbits, dogs and cats in amount of 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight within 5 - 10 days.
Subcutaneous or intramuscular administration to sheep cattles and pigs: 1 ml per 40 kg of body weight once a day within 3 - 5 or 2 days (pigs with mastitis-metritis-agalactia syndrome).
Precautions
- Not to be given to growing dogs.
- Dose per injection site should not exceed (5 ml) in cattle.
- In severe cases, and infections of salmonella and pasteurella, continue treatment for additional 2 days.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 7 days.
Milk: 3 days.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry and dark place at temperatures below 30°C.
Shelf life 28 days after first use.
