Oxytetracycline HCL 5.5%
Description
Oxytetracycline HCL water soluble powder 5.5% is a pale yellow to dark yellow free flowing powder containing 55 g oxytetracycine hydrochloride per kg in a water soluble base.
Indications
Arthritis, gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive micro-organisms like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E.Coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp.
Administration and Dosage
For cattle, sheep, goats, dogs, camels, donkey, buffaloes, poultry, horses, rabbits, etc.
Poultry: -Broiler: 1 - 5 grams per liter of drinking water for 3 - 5 consecutive days.
Poultry: -Layers: 1 - 3 grams per liter of drinking water for 3 - 5 consecutive days.
Calves and other large animals: 10 - 20 grams per 200 kg of life body weight every 12 hours for 3 - 5 consecutive days.
Contraindications
Do not treat animals with serious liver or renal insufficiency.
Side Effects
Oxytetracycline is that it may cause superinfection in intestinal tract.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 5 - 8 days.
Poultry: 12 days.
Storage
Store below 30℃, in a dry place, and protect from light.
