Sulfadimidine and Trimethoprim Bolus 1000mg + 200mg
Indications
Treatment for diseases of digestive tract, respiratory and urogenital systems and complications of viral diseases, postoperative and posttraumatic infections caused by microorganisms sensitive to trimethoprim and sulfadimidine in cattle (calves), sheep (lambs), goats (kids), pigs, horses.
Administration and Dosage
By oral administration.
1 bolus / 40 kg b.w. per day.
Treatment should continue for another 2 days after the disappearance of symptoms but for no more than five days.
contraindications
Do not administer to ruminants with a functional rumen.
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in animals with impaired liver and kidney function as well as in case of blood dyscrasia.
side effects
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Crystalluria.
May occur nausea, vomiting and gastrointestinal disturbances.
withdrawal period
Meat: 20 days.
Do not use in animals producing milk intended for human consumption.
Storage
Store below 30℃. In a dry place and protect from light.
