Levamisole Hydrochloride Injection 7.5%
Indications
Treatment of infestations by the following parasites:
In cattle, sheep and goats:
- Gastrointestinal nematodes:
Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Ostertagia ostertagi (except inhibited larvae), Haemonchus spp., Nematodirus spp., Bunostomum spp., Oesophagostomum spp., Chabertia ovina (sheep).
- Lung strongyles:
Dictyocaulus viviparus.
In swine:
- Gastrointestinal nematodes:
Ascaris suum, Strongyloides ransomi, Oesophagostomum spp.
- Lung strongyles:
Metastrongylus spp.
Administration And Dosage
In cattle, sheep, goats and swine:
1 ml per 10 kg of body weight, in a single administration by subcutaneous route.
To ensure correct dosage, live weight should be determined as accurately as possible.
Contraindications
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
Side Effects
Overdoses can cause hypersalivation, vomiting, diarrhea, polypnea and ataxia, tremors, convulsions.
Withdrawal Period
Meat and offal: 28 days.
This product must not be used in cattle, sheep and goats producing milk for human consumption.
Storage
Store below 30°C. Protect from light.
