Oxytetracycline Hydrochloride Injection 20%
Indications
Oxytetracycline HCl is used for treatment of respiratory tract infections, such as
bronchopneumonia, pleuropneumonia, sinusitis; gastrointestinal tract infections, such as enteritis, salmonellosis; urinary tract unfections; and other diseases, such as metritis, mastitis, foot rot, mycoplasmosis, liver abscess, shipping fever, anaplasmosis, secondary bacterial infections.
Administration and Dosage
By deep intramuscular injection:
Cattle and camels: 1 ml per 20 kg bodyweight.
Sheep and goats: 1 ml per 10 kg bodyweight.
If necessary, the treatment should be repeated after 3 or 4 days.
Contraindications
Do not use in animals with hepatic or renal impairment.
Side Effects
To minimize pain and local tissue irritation at the injection site, it is recommended that the dose be divided and administered into separate injection sites, no more than 10 ml should be injected into any one site. Do not use in pregnancy.
Withdrawal Period
Meat: 28 days.
Milk: 7 days.

Store below 30℃. Protect from light.
