Gastrointestinal, respiratory and urogenital infections, mastitis and panaritium caused by sulfadimidine sensitive micro-organisms, like Corynebacterium, E. coli, Fusobacterium necrophorum, Pasteurella, Salmonella and Streptococcus spp. in cattle, sheep and swine.
Hypersensitivity to sulfonamides.
Administration to animals with a seriously impaired renal and/or hepatic function or with blood dyscrasias.
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Crystalluria, anaemie, leucopenia and thrombocytopenia.
For intravenous or subcutaneous administration.
General: 3 ml per 10 kg body weight, 3-5 consecutive days.
Following subcutaneous administration, it is recommended that the dose is divided, administered at separate sites and well massaged. The volumes injected per injection site should not exceed 50 ml in cattle and 10 ml in sheep and swine when given subcutaneously.
For meat:
Cattle, sheep: 18 days
Swine: 35 days
For milk:
Cattle: 7 days
Not for use in sheep producing milk for human consumption.
