Bithionol Sulfoxide 2000 mg
Indications
Bithionol is indicated for treatment of tapeworms (Moniezia, Thysanosoma), infestations
by gastro-intestinal nematodes (Paramphistomum) and liver flukes (Fasciola hepatica,
Fasciola gigantica, Fasciola magna) in cattle, sheep and goats.
administration and dosage
Oral administration: 1 bolus per 50 kg body weight.
Following to treatment, the appetite may decrease. The diet does not need not to be
adjusted.
side effects
Following to treatment, a severe transient diarrhoea may occur.
Photo-sensibilization may occur 24-48 hours after treatment. Animals should be placed in the shadow.
Storage
Store in cool dry place away from direct sun light.
