Indications

Indicated in the treatment of acute, subacute and chronic conditions of bacterial origin in horses, cattle, pigs dogs and cats. The therapeutic spectrum includes both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria including Streptococci, Staphylococci, Actinobacilli, Actinomycae, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Pneumococci, Proteus, E. coli,
Corynebacteria, Vibrio, Bordetella, Brucella, Klebsiellae and Haemophilus.

Contraindications

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the active substances or to any of the excipients.
Do not use in animals with severe liver or renal damage or blood dyscrasias.
Do not use in case of reduced water intake or losses of body fluid.

Side Effects

Occasionally, temporary swelling at injection sites may occur.
Exceed dosage may lead into chronic poisoning or acute poisoning.

Administration and Dosage

Cattle and Pigs:
The recommended dose rate is 1 ml per 16 kg bodyweight by intramuscular or slow intravenous injection.
It may be administered by intravenous injection when rapid blood levels of trimethoprim and Sulfadiazine are required.
Horses:
The recommended dose rate is 1 ml per 16 kg bodyweight by slow intravenous injection.
Dogs and Cats:
The recommended dose rate is 1 ml per 8 kg bodyweight by subcutaneous injection only.
A single injection may be sufficient in uncomplicated conditions, but in severe infections it may be repeated daily until 2 days after symptoms resolve, up to a maximum of 5 days.

Withdrawal Period

Not to be used for horses intended for human consumption. Treated horses may never be slaughtered for human consumption.
Cattle: Meat – 12 days.
Milk– 48 hours.
Pigs: Meat – 20 days.

Store below 30℃. Protect from light.
